The CVCA football team traveled to Manchester on Friday nigh to face the Panthers. The Royals were looking to cap of the regular season with a win over their rivals from Akron. Early turnovers put CVCA in a 21 point hole. They fought back and were able to pull within seven at 28-21, but didn't have enough to get over the top. Manchester would respond and went on to win 41-21. Despite the loss, the Royals qualified for the OHSAA State Playoffs. They will travel to West Branch on Friday, October 29th.
