The CVCA softball team hosted cross town neighbor Woodridge on Friday evening. The Royals were looking for a win in their first non-conference game of 2021. A four run fourth inning put the Royals ahead for good. They traded some rusn with the Bulldgos and held on to win 8-5. They will host Coventry for a doubleheader on Saturday.
