The CVCA softball team hosted Kenston on Saturday. The Royals and Bombers squared off before the rain game and finished their game just in time. Kenston took the early lead with an unearned run in the first inning. CVCA scored all three of their runs in the 4th inning behind a 2 run home run by Shaye Tepley. Tepley also picked up the win allowing just the one unearned run. The Royals secured the win by a score of 3-1 to improve their record to 17-7. They now shift their focus back to the OHSAA Tournament. The girls will travel to Howland for the District Semifinal on Tuesday, May 19th.
