The CVCA softball team traveled to Springfield on Thursday evening. The Royals faced the Spartans in non-conference action on a chilly day. CVCA couldn't get the offense going in this game and fell by a score of 14-3. They will host Fairless on Friday and travel to McKinley on Saturday.
