The CVCA baseball team hosted Tuslaw on Monday evening in PAC-7 play. The Royals took an early lead with 2 runs in the first inning. Tuslaw responded with 4 runs in the third inning thanks to some CVCA miscues. The Royals fell behind even further in the 5th inning. Tuslaw scored twice in the top of 5th and now held a 6-2 lead. CVCA answered the call and capitalized on walks in the bottom of the inning. They scored 5 times capped by a Josh Stalnaker 2-run single to give CVCA a 7-6 lead. They added two more runs in the 6th inning and held on for the 9-6 victory. CVCA is now 3-2 (2-0) on the season.
