The CVCA baseball team played in Lake Center Christian's Tiger Tailgate on Saturday. The event supported Fully Equipped and featured 6 area teams. The Royals faced the Saints of Tusky Central Catholic in the first game on Saturday. CVCA dug themselves a hole with early mistakes. They trailed 7-3 entering the bottom of the 5th inning. They responded with 2 runs in the 5th and 6th to tie the score. In the bottom of the 7th, the Royals secured a walk-off win on a ground rule double with the bases loaded. The 9-7 win moves CVCA to 11-10 on the seasaon. Sophomore Otto Rogers was named Player of the Game
