The CVCA baseball faced Berlin Hiland on Thursday night. The Royals and Hawks faced off at Canal Park in Akron for Senior Night. The Royals were looking to respond after two tough loses, but knew they were in for a test with the #2 ranked team in Division 4. It was a close game through 5 innings. Hiland pieced together a 6 run 6th inning and went on to win 8-1. CVCA will open the OHSAA tournament at home on Monday against Shaw.
