The CVCA baseball team hosted Woodridge in the opening round of the Cuyahoga Falls City Championship on Thursday. After two scoreless innings, the Royals scored 4 times in the 3rd inning to take a commanding lead. In the bottom of the 4th innings, CVCA pushed across 10 runs to pull away from the Bulldogs. A zero in the top half of the fifth inning ended the game by run rule. The Royals moved to 6-0 win the 14-0 win over Woodridge. CVCA will host Walsh Jesuit in the CF City Championship game on Friday.
