The CVCA baseball team hosted Orrville on Wednesday night. It turned out to be quite an evening at the ballpark. The game saw 6 lead changes and needed extra innings to determine a winner. The Royals were able to win 13-12 behind a walk-off single by Senior Andrew Hendrickx. CVCA finished their conference schedule unbeaten at 12-0. It was the team's 22nd win on the season which is a new school record. It was also Coach Jason Herblet's 100th carer victory and it was Senior Day for the Class of 2022. Next up for the the Royals is a non-conference game against Salem on Monday at Kent State University.
