The CVCA softball team hosted Villa Angela-St. Joseph on Tuesday for Senior Day. The Royals jumped out in front with 13 runs in the first three innings. The visiting Vikings were able to respond and after the top of the 5th inning they had cut the score to 13-11. CVCA scored twice in the bottom of the 5th and held on for 15-12 win. The Royals earn the two game sweep of VASJ. They will host Manchester and Northwes to close out their season.
