The CVCA football team traveled to Fairless on Friday night to face the Falcons. The Royals entered week 7 looking to improve to 5-2 on the season and 3-1 in conference play. It was a slow first half on the scoreboard. CVCA took a 7-0 lead into halftime. The CVCA defense was very impressive in this game. They allowed less than 100 yard of total offense and secured their third shutout of the season. They also scored on a late safety to give the Royals a 23-0 win. The Royals offense gained over 300 yards on the ground and scored three touchdowns. Senior Logan Scranton led the way with 149 yards and 2 touchdowns. CVCA is set to host Northwest in week 8. It is the final home game of the regular season and thus Senior Night for the Royals.
