The CVCA football team traveled to Manchester on Friday night for week 10 of the season. The Royals were looking to finish 8-2 and build momentum heading into the playoffs. Manchester was looking for one more win in their old stadium before moving to a new home in 2024. CVCA forced a fumble on the first play of the game. Joey Kopec rushing touchdown. The Royals scored again after a Manchester punt. This time it was senior
Logan Scranton finding the end zone from 30 yards out. Manchester was able to answer with a solid drive down the field ending in a touchdown. The first quarter ended with CVCA in front by 7. Earlier in the 2nd quarter, the Royals extended their lead to 14.
Logan Scranton scored his 2nd rushing touchdown of the night with a 34 yard score.
Calvin Warren connected on a 29 yard field goal late in the second quarter and the score was 24-10 in favor of CVCA at halftime. The Royals were able to score twice in the 3rd quarter. Quarterback

Ricky Levak scored a 5 yard rushing touchdown and the 30 point running clock rule was activated.
Luke McQuillen added a 30 yard field goal for the Royals in the 4th quarter. Manchester was able to score in the game's final minute and the final score was 41-14. CVCA finishes the regular season at 8-2. It is the first 8 win regular season in 15 years for the Royals. They secured a playoff spot in Division III Region 9. All signs point to a road game at Chardon on Friday night.
