The CVCA baseball team hosted Triway on Wednesday evening. The Royals needed a win to keep pace with the conference leading Titans. Defensive miscues dug CVCA in a hole early. They tried to battle back late but couldn't muster enough offense. The Royals fell by a score of 7-2 and drop to  9-7 (6-3) on the season. They will travel to Woodridge on Friday for the first round of the Falls City Championship.
