The CVCA softball team traveled to VASJ on Wednesday to face the Vikings. It was a wild game as the two teams combined for 41 runs. The Royals grabbed a 10-3 lead in the 2nd inning. They then led 16-7 going into the bottom of the 4th inning. The Vikings scored 8 runs in the 4th and it was now a 1 run game. CVCA answered with 8 runs of their own in the 5th inning and would go on to win the game by a score of 26-15. The girls will travel to STVM on Thursday for the 2nd round of the OHSAA Tournament.
