In football, a sudden change can often spark an important play in the game. Teams must be able to adjust to the situation in front of them and trust their preparation. The CVCA football team was handed a late change on Friday night as the Royals game against Kent Roosevelt as switched from away to home due to a power outage in Kent. The team showed no effects and looked right at home in a 30-0 win over the Rough Riders. The Royals racked up 314 yards on the ground and the defense stood strong from start to finish in the shutout win. CVCA moved to 1-1 with the and will host Woodridge in week 3.
