The CVCA football team traveled to Northwest on Friday night. All signs pointed to a highly competitive battle between these two teams. CVCA entered the game 5-2 while Northwest stood at 6-1. The Royals wasted little time taking control of this game and never looked back. An early score became a 28-0 halftime lead. That lead grew to 49-7 in the second half and the final score was 55-21 in favor of CVCA. It was a dominating performance. The Royals rushed for over 500 yards as a team. The defense allowed just over 200 yards of total offense, many of which came late in the 4th quarter. CVCA improves their record to 6-2 and has now won six consecutive games. They will look to continue roll through their former conference mates when they host Orrville on Friday night.
