The CVCA baseball team traveled down to Fairless on Thursday evening for a conference matchup with the Falcons. The CVCA offense wasn't firing on all cylinders but found a big inning in the 4th. They scored 5 times to open up a 6-0 lead. Junior Nik Wirsching held Fairless scoreless through six innings of work and sophomore James Wiggers pitched a scoreless 7th. The Royals won the game to improve their record to 6-3 (4-0). CVCA will be back in action on Friday night. They will face McKinley in the Hank Miller Classic at Thurman Munson Stadium.
