The CVCA softball team hosted Northwest on Thursday evening. The Royals and Indians traded runs in the first inning of play. Northwest moved in front with 3 runs in the 2nd inning and added one more run in the 5th inning to lead 5-1. CVCA responded well with 3 runs in the 5th and sixth innings to grab a 7-5 lead. Northwest was able to put together a large 7th inning rally and would win the game by a score of 12-7. The girls will be back in action on Friday night when they host Lake Center Christian.
