The CVCA baseball team came out swinging on Wednesday night. After allowing an unearned run in the first inning, the Royals scored seven of their own runs to grab control of the game. They increased their lead to 11-1 in the 2nd inning before Orrville scored four in the top of the 3rd inning. CVCA went scoreless in the 3rd inning, but scored 6 runs in the 4th to put the game out of reach. The final score was 17-6 in favor of the Royals. CVCA recorded 15 nights on the night including 3 doubles, 2 home runs, and 1 triple. With the win, the team is now 14-3 overall and 10-0 in conference play. They have now won 13 straight games. CVCA will travel to Perry on Friday night in non-conference action.
