The Ohio High School Athletic Association hosted the 2025 State Wrestling Tournament this past weekend in Columbus. CVCA was represented by four wrestlers at the Division II level. All four Royals finished in the top eight in their respective weight class and the team finished in 9th place overall. Junior Rocco Czarnecki took 3rd place at 132 lbs. Freshman Paul Tepley finished in 4th place at 190 lbs. Senior David Grimes placed 7th at heavyweight and senior Dylan Hart was 8th at 144 lbs. The team scored 45.4 points to place 9th in Division II.
