The CVCA softball team played Cuyahoga Falls and Woodridge on Saturday in the CF City Classic. The Royals were supposed to host, but poor field conditions didn't allow for it. The games were moved to Woodridge's football stadium where the Royals, Bulldogs, and Black Tigers battled on the turf. CVCA defeated Cuyahoga Falls in their opening game by a score of 10-6. The Royals also added a 17-7 win over Woodridge to close out the day. The girls improved their record to 6-3. They are set to host Lake Catholic on Tuesday.
