The CVCA baseball team traveled to Louisville on Tuesday night to face the Leopards. The Royals surrendered two early runs and trailed after the first inning. They responded in the top of the third inning and were able to tie the score. A Ryan Wiehe double drove in Jacob Lancy for the first run. Connor McCough singled to right to score Wiehe and the game was tied. Louisville move back in front with a two out run in the bottom half of the third. They would extend their lead with two runs in the 5th and one in the 6th. The Royals had base runners all night but couldn't convert them to runs. They would only score one more time on the night. Nik Wirsching scored on an RBI ground-out by Ryan Wiehe in the 7th inning. The 6-3 loss drops CVCA to 7-5 on the season. They will travel to Chagrin Falls on Thursday.
