The CVCA girls lacrosse team competed in the Brunswick Play Day on Saturday. The Royals faced Brunswick and Avon on a cold day for late April. In their opener, CVCA lost to the host Blue Devils by a score of 13-3. In their second game, the girls battled Avon but ultimately fell 9-5. The Royals are now 4-6 on the season. They are set to host Beaumont on Tuesday night for the final NCC game of the year. It will also be Senior Night for CVCA.
