The CVCA girls lacrosse team hosted Canfield on Thursday. The Royals had to battle another evening of bad weather as storms rolled in before they could get started. They were able to wait out the storm and get the varsity game in. The Royals and Cardinals were locked in a tight battle. The game was tied at 5 late in the 4th quarter. The coaches and officials decided to end the game in a tie after a Canfield player suffered a serious injury. CVCA is now 5-6-1 on the season and will travel to St. Vincent-St. Mary on Monday night.
