The CVCA baseball team hosted Mentor on Monday in a rescheduled, non-conference game. Both the Royals and Cardinals were looking for a challenge as the postseason quickly approaches. Mentor was able to secure a 3-1 win as the CVCA offense just couldn't get going in this one. The Royals snap a 6 game winning streak and move to 17-7 with the loss.
