On Wednesday, the CVCA softball team made their 2nd trip to Elyria Catholic this season, but played as the home team. The Panthers entered the game undefeated and the top team in the North Coast Conference. CVCA fell behind early in this one and trailed 7-0. The Royals responded with 4 runs in the bottom of the 2nd inning. Elyria Catholic kept the offense rolling in this game and won by a score of 17-5. CVCA will return to action on Thursday when they travel to Padua.
