Friday night was Homecoming at Cuyahoga Valley Christian and Royals fans turned out in bunches. The football team provided the entertainment as they ran away with a 56-0 win over Garfield. The Royals were firing on all cylinders in this one as they moved to 3-0 for the first time since 2007. They scored six rushing touchdowns on the night, Joey Kopec 43 yards, Wesley Keeler 35 yards, Tommy Kopec 2 yards, Charley Levak 53 yards, and Ky'Ron Fikes 4 & 28 yards. They also added two touchdowns through the air, Charley Levak to Brayden Harris 35 & 12 yards. The defense allowed just 38 total yards (-9 rushing) in the shutout victory. It was another dominating performance for 2025 Royals as they have now outscored their opponents 147-14 this season. CVCA will be on the road the next three games. The first test is a trip to Boardman next week.
