The first ever CVCA flag football game took place on Friday night. The Royals face the Rough Riders of Kent Roosevelt at Bedford High School to open their first season of play. The girls secured a 19-6 victory behind a strong rushing attack. CVCA ran for 210 yards on the day with
Julia Wiggers,
Savannah Crews, and
Kaci Cherry leading the way.
Chloe Kroslak and
Rachel Saliba caught touchdown passes for the Royals while
Julia Wiggers score the lone rushing touchdown. Giana Frye caught the team's lone extra point. On defense, Kroslak (Int), Frye, and
Kylie Marshall had standout days. It was an amazing first night of flag football for the Royals. They start the season 1-0 as the first team in school history.
