The CVCA flag football competed at North Royalton High School on Sunday in their final regular season games of the 2026 season. The Royals split the day as they defeated to Bedford and fell to North Royalton. The girls finish their inaugural season with an impressive record of 8-2. 

North Royalton 13 - CVCA 0
In game one against North Royalton, a strong defensive effort was not enough to secure a win.  Kylie Marshall had 2 interceptions, 7 tackles (flag pulls), and a pass breakup.  Chloe Kroslak added an interception, and Giana Frye had 5 tackles (flag pulls) and 2 sacks)

CVCA 14 - Bedford 13
In game 2, a Tiah Aufdenberg to Savannah Crews 40 yard TD pass tied the score at 6 in the first half. With less than 2 minutes to go in the game, a 45 yard pass to Chloe Kroslak pulled the Royals to within 1 at 13-12.  Raela Zapsic found Chloe Kroslak in the end zone on the 2 point try to give CVCA the win.  Defensively, Chloe Kroslak added 2 more interceptions (10 for the year) and 5 pass breakups.  Giana Frye and Kylie Marshall each had 5 tackles (flag pulls).  For the the Giana Frye led the team with 46 tackles (flag pulls) while Kylie Marshall had 37 along with 9 interceptions.  Kaitlyn Hopkins had her first interception.
