The baseball team traveled to Tuslaw for a PAC-7 showdown. Monday's game proved to be a pure pitchers dual. Both teams starting pitchers allowed no runs through 7 innings. The Royals were able to break through in the 8th inning for 3-0 win.
With 1 out in the 8th,
Myles Burdick reached on an error to get things started for CVCA.
Trent Fantelli followed with a sacrifce bunt and Burdick advanced to 3rd base thanks to heads up base running. The winning run was now just 90 feet away with the top of the Royals lineup coming up.
Drew Wilson ripped a single to right to drive in Burdick.
Steven Taylor followed with a double to left center that scored Wilson. After a

Noah Brook singled up the middle to increase the CVCA lead to 3-0.Â
Steven Taylor pitched a great game for CVCA. He went all 8 innings without allowing any runs. He recorded 9 strikeouts without walking a batter.
