The final regular season game of the 2016 baseball season was played on Wednesday. CVCA hosted league opponent Triway. Neither team was able to get much going offensively in this one. Pitching and defense turned this one into a classic 1-0 game. The Royals were able to push a run across in the first inning and ride that to victory. The win improves CVCA's record to 13-13 overall and 6-6 in the PAC. They finish in 3rd place in the league standings.

Chris Punka singled to center to drive in the only run of the game for either team.
Myles Burdick got the win on the mound going 4 scoreless innings.
Josh Thacker picked up a hold going 2 innings in relief.
Trent Fantelli earned the save with a scoreless 7th inning.
