CVCA and Manchester squared off in PAC-7 action on Monday. The Royals made the trip to Akron for the game at Manchester's recently redone Bond Field. Great pitching and defense led the way for CVCA as they earned a 1-0 win in a game that lasted less than 90 minutes. The win moves the Royals to 3-2 overall and 3-1 in conference play. They were led by
Steven Taylor's strong outing on the mound. CVCA scored their lone run in the 5th inning after a key error by the Panthers' second baseman. Their next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 11th. They will travel to Tusky Valley for another conference matchup.
