The CVCA baseball team will once again play in the District Final in 2017. The Royals earned a 1-0 win over Woodridge on Monday to return to the championship game. Drew Wilson led the Royals with an outstanding performance on the mound. Steven Taylor drove in Chris Fair in the 4th inning for the game's only run. Taylor Sobiech's diving catch with 2 outs and the bases loaded in the 6th inning proved to be a game saver. CVCA will face #1 seed Chagrin Falls in the District Final on Tuesday, May 16th at 4:30pm at Euclid High School. That game will be a rematch of last year's district final, a game the Tigers won 3-1. The Royals will be looking for their first District Championship since 2004.
