CVCA and Woodridge faced off in the Cuyahoga Falls City Championship on Wednesday. It was the first game in the tournament for the Royals. Woodridge was defeated by Cuyahoga Falls on Tuesday. The first three innings went by without a score on Wednesday evening. The Royals were able to add 3 runs in the 4th to take control of the game. They added one more run in the 5th to increase their lead to 4-0. Tommy Lile went the distance on the mound and allowed just one run in the 7th for the win. CVCA will travel to Cuyahoga Falls on Thursday, May 18th. The winner of that game will be the 2017 Cuyahoga Falls City Champion.
