35 days passed between the first pitch and final run of CVCA's home baseball game against Manchester. The game started on May 11th, but had to be called due to darkness in the top of the 9th inning. The Royals and Panthers were finally able to finish the game on Thursday. CVCA picked up a 12-11 walk-off win to finish the year at 12-11. It was a wild game from start to finish. Manchester jumped out to an early 6-0. Every time CVCA answered Manchester would do the same. At the end of the 5 innings, Manchester held an 11-5 lead. The score stayed at way until the bottom of the 7th. The Royals scored six times in the 7th to tie the game at 11. Nether team scored in the 8th or 9th innings. Alex Jacob singled in the 10th inning to drive in the winning run for the home team.
