The CVCA baseball team clinched at least a share of the PAC-7 title with a 10-1 in over Orrville on Monday night. The Royals collected 14 hits on the day and got an outstanding pitching performance from sophomore Christian Isaacs. It was a great game for Senior Night as the team honored seven members of the class of 2018 and their parents after the game. Drew Wilson, Lance Rybka, Ryker Papa, Dylan Nichols, Matt Henning, Tommy Piazza, and Josh Thacker have all played a role in the team's success this season. The Royals now hold a 2 game lead in the conference with 2 games remaining. CVCA begins postseason play on Tuesday, May 8th with a home game against Shaw. They will play Orrville again on Monday, May 14th and complete a suspended game against Manchester at a date to be determined.
