The CVCA softball team hosted Western Reserve Academy on Thursday. Despite the steady drizzle, the Royals and Pioneers were able to complete their game. After WRA took a 2-0 lead in the 3rd inning, CVCA answered with 2 runs of their own in the bottom half. Then in the 4th inning, the Royals pulled away with 5 runs. They would go on to win the game 7-2 and move to 10-9 on the season. They will be back in action on Saturday at Cuyahoga Falls.
