The CVCA football team hosted the Aurora Greenmen on Friday night. Both teams entered the game 1-0 on the season. The Royals and Greenmen played a great game in 2018 that saw Aurora win 29-28. Friday night's game was more of the same. Two good football teams, playing hard and competing until the final whistle. Aurora scored on the opening kickoff and took a 14-0 lead into halftime. CVCA answered with a 3rd quarter touchdown, but that would be the last of the scoring in this one. The Royals would fall by a score of 14-7. Next up for CVCA is a visit from Revere on September 13th.
