CVCA Football's 2020 postseason run came to an end on Saturday night. The Royals fell to Mentor Lake Catholic by a score of 35-21. It was an impressive run for the Royals with six straight wins, two in the postseason, on the back of a high scoring offense. The CVCA and Lake Catholic matchup was expected to be hard fought and even. It played out very much that way. The Royals capitalized in the first half and led 21-7 at the break. The Cougars were able to control the action in the 2nd half to come away with a win. CVCA will travel to Salem in Week 10 for a non-conference contest.
