The baseball team continued their spring break trip with a stop in Louisville, Kentucky. They boys played under the lights on Friday night at Christian Academy of Louisville. Both teams entered the game following a win. CVCA was looking to go 2-0 on their trip south. It was a great day for baseball. Christian Academy was able to silence the bats of the Royals and capitalize on some defense miscues. They came away with a 5-0 win.

Chris Punka got his first start on the mound for the 2016 season. He went 5 innings allowing 4 runs (1 earned) and 3 hits while striking out 7 batters. CAL's Allen shutout the Royals going 7 innings with 12 strikeouts and only allowed 2 hits on the night.
The Royals will be back in action on Monday, April 4th at Tusky Valley.
