Baseball wins big over Revere

The CVCA baseball team hosted Revere in non-conference action on Monday. The Royals and Minutemen are both members of the Division II Twinsburg District this season. The Royals jumped ahead early as Revere's starting pitcher struggled to throw strikes. CVCA led 5-0 after the first inning. They added 2 runs in the 3rd inning and 2 runs in the 4th innings. Revere scored twice in the 4th inning but that was all. CVCA scored 3 runs in the bottom of the 5th innings to end the game by run rule at 12-2. The Royals are set to host Western Reserve on Tuesday.
